EXAMPLE OF A RESEDA CRIMINAL DEFENSE CASE:
Aaron, a Reseda resident, gets into an argument with his girlfriend, Janet, at the apartment the two share.  A neighbor overhears some glass break and calls the police.  LAPD officers arrive at the scene quickly, and separate Aaron and Janet.  At first, both Aaron and Janet are reluctant to speak to the police about what happened, and both deny that either of them physically hit or pushed the other.  When asked about the sound of broken glass, Janet admitted that she threw a dinner plate on the ground.  The officer questioning Janet told her (untruthfully) that Aaron accused her of throwing the plate at him.  This made Janet, already angry at Aaron because of their fight, very angry, and she accused Aaron of hitting her, even of having hit her in the past.
